In and out of Addis Ababa Ethiopia in a flash!

Well, so much for a data connection in Ethiopia, so if you get this, it is sent from Lilongwe Malawi! (Sent from Congo refueling)
We landed in Ethiopia and that flight was great.  Flying in was a view of a small mountain range but it was very hazy.  The city was as I expected, nothing very semetric from the sky.  Major roads paved, other roads appeared to be dirt.  Obviously not a very stringent building code or zoning in place here!  Fields nearby are all small and odd shaped as they are obviously not machine plowed.  Just not much to write home about... so im gonna quit writing home about that!
The airport was like an airplane parking lot.  People walking everywhere, looking lost, so we fit right it.  We bussed to the terminal, it was a little nicer than a warehouse... you guessed it, NO STARBUCKS.
Anyway, we herded in with the rest of the chickens and goats (don't believe that) got pointed a few different direntions till a lady acted like she looked at our passports (I never opened mine), she scanned our tickets and back on a bus we went through the plethora of parked planes to board a 737 bound for Malawi.
NOTE:  This flight is a little different.  Im holding onto my wallet with both hands.  Im not in the right seat because a guy with a top hat and a techni-color suit is sitting in my seat.  The little french speaking girl next to him looks scared to death.  (Once again, not my problem....  she's not in my group.)  I just found a seat and sat in it avoiding eye contact.
My buddy the anthropologist is seated a row in front of me... we're gonna be facebook friends someday.  Man... isn't he privileged!  His name is Evan.  :)
They definitely do things different here.  Nothing in the airport is labeled... no incoming or outgoing flight information on any signs or screens... you just kinda follow the crowd and hope you are all going the same place.  If our luggage is actually on they belly of THIS plane, God is doing some big work.
The group is all in tact.  We all got on the same plane!  The willets are with us and the Clevenger gals are here too.  Somehow I missed them in DC.  Megan IS on the plane too, somehow she hid three rows in front of me, right behind Jimi and Cristi for 7192 miles.  Maybe im a little lax on my keen observational skills this week.  I have an excuse, IM ON VACATION!  (No comments from Brent or any of my coworkers.)
Well, it looks like they are gonna feed us on this plane, chicken, fish or beef.  Hmmm... Ethiopian airplane fish???  I'll take the chicken please, ma'am.
See ya in Malawi.
UPDATE: The food was great, Evan ate the airplane chicken, he'll probably die now and we wont be facebook friends.  Also, Piet... you'd be proud, Im sitting next to a girl from Holland.  (Note to self... expand the radius to Holland.)  ;)
