950 miles down...

Well, 11 of us have made it to Dulles Int'l in Washington DC where we will crash for the night.
I sure hope tomorrow's plane isn't as tiny... that ride wasn't much fun!  ;)

And we're off!

Seven of us just loaded on a very crowded an WARM MoX bus on our way to the Kansas City Airport.
Prayer# 1... please let the A/C start working!  :)

We'll see how this goes...

I've added another blog...

Tomorrow we are headed to Malawi Africa on a Be The Change Volunteers project http://www.bethechangevolunteers.org/ where we will build a library at the Sankhani school near the village of Makalani, near Lilongwe.  This will afford them the opportunities that they are not accustomed to and at the same time, build positive relationships with good people!

Traveling on this venture is a great group of people, many of which are outlined here.
Please keep these brave, warm hearted people in your prayers to have safe and healthy travels around the world, and that lives can be touhed and changed through these people.

A special thanks to the great people and Woodcrest Chapel http://www.woodcrest.org/. A great bunch of Real People on a Real Journey.  Also, a HUGE thanks to Dr. Jimi and Cristi Cook and the Be The Change Volunteers for caring enough to enable people to help the world.  (Also, thanks to the Missouri State Highway Patrol for approving my VACATION time so I can do this.  I've never been off work this long in 18 years!!!!)  :)

Anyway, the success of this blog will depend upon the availability of technology at our destination. We "should" have the ability to post things as we go along... so keep your fingers crossed!  Keep that in your prayers too.

Please feel free to leave comments which will be shared with the group!  Subcribe to the blog and follow the posts and share it on your facebook with the button below!
