Well, its sunday morning about 7am!
First let me say that these are the nicest people you will ever meet. Yesterday we were greeted at the airport by the greatest group of men and boys. I hope I can remember all the names! I am amazed, more people in the world should be like this.
Doug Willet didn't get a bag at the airport... luckily he is a prepared traveler and doesn't seem stressed about it. Hopefully they will find it today.
We are staying in the 3P's lodge, (Pic attached) I gotta say... im impressed. Its not fancy, but it is a roof, its pretty clean, and it has a big protective wall around it. (Thievery tends to be an issue here.)
This morning we are going to eat and head to various churches.
The weather is awesome, sunny and in the 70s but everything is brown and dry.
See ya, more later.
Be the change!
Love ya!
PS.
Dogs run in packs and make lots of noise in Malawi at night and roosters crow before 4am. Love it!

Loving every word of the blog!!! My room was the one on the left, 1st floor when I was there. Sounds like ABC was the lace to be this morning rather than acting out the verses unes it was Lynda - can see her doing that. Enjoy, enjoy and keep the blog going. It's wonderful!
ReplyDeleteOne last thing Dusty -don't forget you can put yourself or eachother on"time out" if you start to get crabby. And don't forget that you have to be super flexible as you are on Malawi time.
ReplyDeleteI want a picture of Zione and Tamandani and Tiyamake (I think that is how it is spelled) and Nacy and Anifa. Oh just start taking picture of those beautiful girls' smiles.
